BENEATH THE ARMOR All the projects of my peers are RELEASED, mine always have to ESCAPE. I personally think it my favorite CD to date; I really love the songs. Six of the songs were written by one of my favorite writers and a minister friend of mine ... Mr. Bill Burns. His songs on the project have words that just knock my hat in the creek ... He also has a real funny one on there about an ole boy that loved to shout anywhere anytime and it's called I WILL IF I WANT TO. The title song sorta relates my response to people who look at me on videos and concerts and think I never have any problems and life for me is a bed of roses. I love these lines from the 2nd verse .... "You may have seen me looking strong and victorious with all of life's problems slain at my feet But holding the sword was a hand that was trembling for I knew that alone I was bound for defeat" and then the last lines of chorus ..... "I'm not a hero just a tired weary soldier But beneath all God's armor there is sweet victory"
