The most desirable form in which to present your musical work to a prospective publisher or artist is in the form of a lead sheet.
What is a lead sheet?
A lead sheet is a simple transcription of your work notated in a musically correct and visible form. It contains the melody line, lyrics and chord notations .
At Sumner and Associates "Spirit Engravings" we excel in both musical transcriptions and music typesetting. On certain occasions and by certain companies or persons both of these areas of expertise are needed separately as individual entities. This particular page is offered to the writer who has need of both services at the same time and should therefore be in line for a price break.
This is what we do.
We receive your work (preferably sung by you or someone else and recorded on a home cassette recorder.)
Our scribes listen to your tape and with pencil and music paper manually transcribe your creative idea into a musically correct form.
Our typesetters then take your work and with the help of computer imaging set your work into a professional looking, 8 1/2" by 11" piece of music that you will be extremely proud to present to ANY ARTIST or PUBLISHER.
